Hi everyone! My name is Yunki. 30 years old girl from Korea.
(English name is Joy. It is ur choise which name u like to call me.)
I used to work for online advertisement company in Korea.
But suddenly I realized I have to go outside n meet people in the world bcs it makes me alive! So I'm traveling world now. I want to meet many people from different cultures n talk about what u think. I'm ready to be a good listener.

I came Austrailia a year ago.
I lived in gold coast few month n then i moved to inverell which is small town in NSW bcz I wanted to get working holiday 2nd visa.
Now, I got 2nd visa so I started to travel all over the Austrailia.

I do not smoke. but I do drink. love wine n beer. somtimes tequilla. :p
I'm open, out going, enthusiastic, flexible, understanding, musical and a little crazy.

I respect cultural difference n different life style.
English is not my first language so sometimes it is hard to explain all of my thinking. But I always try hard to communicate with ppl.
And I believe most important thing is not word, is heart.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was a member since 2009 quite long time ago.
But still, I don't have single experience using CS.
Yes, I'm a newbie here.
When I was in Korea, My english was bad bad. So I was scared to meet people from the world. I always checked this amazing site. but I wasn't brave to jump into here.

Still I need lots of time to read ur profile n send messages. It is not easy but I know it is worth to do. It is not just for free accommodation.

When I have my place, I definitely invite lots of CouchSurfers to my home.

Interests

music(listen and play) movie, book, art.
running, walking, bicycle, surfing, salsa, climb mountain, yoga
cooking, eating, love asian food like Thai, Indian. of course Korean as well.
I love smelly food like blue cheese, natto(Japanese ferment beans), kimchi(Korean ferment cabbage), vegimite etc. DON'T WORRY. I don't bring it!
I just want to share story if u like it either! :p

ska. l love ska. but i only had listen korea ska b4. I dont know about the other counrty's skaband well. so if u know ska band in ur contry, pls let me know. I wanna listen with u. let's skanking together! (my favorite Korea ska band is kingston rudiska)
jack johnson, jamie cullum, damien rice, nouvelle vague, bob marley, paolo nutini, the black keys, citizen cope, al green, the velvet underground, franz ferdinand, ben harper, the kooks, kings of convenience, india arie, ect.. all kind of music!!

I will going to bayronbay blues festival in this year!(2015)

Movies
chunking express, in the mood for love, before sunrise, closer, midnight in paris, 500days of summer, moulin rouge, moonrise kingdom, dancer in the dark, untouchables, delicacy, love actually, pop redemtion, ect.
this list is just movies I love, but actually i like to watch all kind of movies.
I have heaps of movies in my hard drive so we can watch it together if u want!

books
almost time I read Korean novels. like Kim yeon-su, Kim young-ha, Eun hee-gyung, Sung suk-jae.
Sometimes I read alain de botton, murakami haruki, henry david thoreau, yoshida shuichi, paul auster.

Teach, Learn, Share

I recently started to make soy wax candles. So I want to share with everyone who will spend time with me. I will gladly teach u how to make soy wax candles n its gonna be super easy. What u need to prepare for candle making is a microwave n used paper cups.(Just cups from mcdonald or starbucks will be okay)I will bring the other ingrediments of candle making.

I can teach Korean n Japanese as well. I'd like to learn how to be a locals asap.

I'd like to listen ur story about ur passion. I have a blog which is not that famous yet :) (And unfurnally it is all writen Korean.) I do interveiw who i meet during travel. If u don't mind open ur amazing story to Korean people, I'd love to listen ur opinion about life, travel, love, CS or whatever about ur passion.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love music playing n listen as well.
I used to play Korean traditional drum(jang-gu) few years when i was student.
N now I'm learnig play guitar. I can play few songs including Korean songs.
I have small guitar n bring it always.
I'm not good at playing now, but always ready to sing to u. :)

I like running. when I traveling the other city, I want to running with local who knows better about street than me for sure. I have experience of half marathon once. usaully I run 5-7km during 35~45min. I'm not a fast runner, but I promise u I will be a good company when we run. :) lets run together!
