ABOUT ME

My name is Youceff, I was born in Brussels, Belgium and moved to Phoenix when I was 14. My dad is from Morocco and my mom from Oackland, CA. I'm an independent electronic musician, I've released one album so far and I'm always writing and recording new songs in my room. If you visit and you're a musician then we must jam, period. I'm a pretty friendly guy and I can be insightful in exploring Phoenix.

PHILOSOPHY

I guess I just do my best with what i get. I try to improve my surroundings and the lives of the people that live alongside me to in turn improve my own. I like to save money and spend it on something worthwhile and meaningful. I have come to the realization that I don't really know anything, so I want to start learning.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I find CS to be the hands down best way to travel. I've only done it once but we met other couchsurfers while we were there and that made it a great experience overall. If you plan on visiting Phoenix, I'm more than willing to let you stay over at my house as long as you are discreet and polite as it is my mom's place. I can host up to two people. I've had a band sleep over once, luckily there were only two members and I think they had restful sleep.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a duo from New York sleep over while they were on tour, I slept at this guy Joseph Wojowski's house in Chicago when I went to Pitchfork Music Festival in July 2012 with my brother and my friend Josh. I hope to expand on this
