Hi, I'm Yunus.
I grew up traveling the world with my parents. We've been traveling and lived mostly in Islamic countries, since my parents are Muslim.
Some years ago I left my parental home and started my own life in Nijmegen, the Netherlands.
But now I'm really getting impatient actually. I've lived here for too long already, I'm getting claustrophobic from always being in the same country, in the same cities, in the same culture. So I really really desire to spread my wings once again and roam free in this amazing big world I love so much ❤

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I got inspired by the culture and lifestyle of some big hippie festivals like Boom festival (Portugal). And some friends of mine also started traveling the world backpacking, their stories and experiences inspired me again and made me realise that this is also the way of my life. It has always been, but I forgot, I got lost in the illusions of our society, about how a "normal" life should be. But it doesn't work for me.
I'm a gypsy. I need to be free to do and go wherever feels right to me.
And then Iearnt about couchsurfing.
I think it's an amazing thing of our age. A golden ticket.
I really want to try this out and see where this will bring me in life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Boom Festival. It was an eye opening experience.
It was hard evidence to me that a peaceful and love filled society is perfectly possible.
