Hello! I'm Yuri from Japan, currently living on a working holiday visa in Prague, Czech Republic from December 2024. While my English isn't perfect, I can communicate well enough to share stories and experiences!

I'm a passionate classical music lover, and that's actually one of the main reasons I'm here in Prague. My dream is to experience live classical concerts in different cities and venues across Europe. There's something magical about hearing music in the places where it was originally composed and performed.

Prague, with its rich musical heritage and venues like the Rudolfinum and Municipal Hall, has already given me some unforgettable concert experiences. I'd love to connect with fellow music enthusiasts or anyone who can recommend great classical music venues in their city.

I'm friendly, respectful, and always eager to learn about different cultures. Even though there might be a language barrier sometimes, I believe music is a universal language that brings people together!

One of my most treasured memories is from my student days when I spent a week homestaying in Alsace in France. The town looked like it came straight out of a fairy tale - every corner, and every building was breathtakingly beautiful.

I was fortunate to stay with a wonderful Franco-German family who showed me the best of both cultures. They took me on adventures across the border to Germany, and I got to experience authentic home cooking from both countries. The warmth and hospitality they showed me left a lasting impression that has shaped who I am today.

This experience taught me how beautiful it is when different cultures come together, and it sparked my desire to connect with people from around the world. It's one of the reasons I believe in the power of cultural exchange and why I'm excited to be part of the Couchsurfing community.
