Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Como antropóloga no creo que haya mejor forma de viajar. Como viajera puedo constatarlo.

As an anthropologist I do not think there is a better way to travel. As a traveler I can confirm it.
I support different ways of traveling, as CS or woofing, even house sitting, that bring you deeper into people, cultures and traditions.

To try new flavors and to reach the authentic of every place.

Interests

People, and their social processes. Histori(es).
Nature and everything related to that. Biking, swimming, camping, hiking, Hammocks, etc.
The written word. Language is for me the most common mystery that no one notices, which makes me look for something new every day, to see and to learn.
Painting, especially muralism / street art.
Food!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies of everything, all the time. My favorite ones: documentary film. I consider myself to be a grateful victim of the documentary syndrome.

I must admit that I put aside the books when I discovered my passion for cinema. However, when I'm traveling is when I read more, and when less I see movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Go across Colombia from south to north by only hitchhiking.
Climb La Malinche, a mexican volcano, during the night to get to see the sunrise

Passionate about the languages, we can discuss about expressions, words, jokes, curiosities in different languages.

I can paint some of your (empty) walls with pleasure! Recycling paintings, collaborative painting techniques.
