ABOUT ME

I am an adventurous person. I find opportunities to travel and see new places. One of my greatest adventures was moving from Russia to the United States. I never regret things I've done and think that everything happens for a reason. I am a little shy with new people but when I get to know them I open up.

PHILOSOPHY

We live our life only once. That's why I don't like to postpone things that can be done today. If there is an opportunity for an adventure I will take it. I enjoy my life and "enjoy" is different for everybody. For me it is living in the moment, appreciating what you have and never stop dreaming for more.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have stayed with great hosts and travellers in different parts of the world: America, Europe, Asia. This is a great project and opprotunity to travel and to meet people. And for me the experience of a new culture or a new country is always related to people. Because only through communication with people we can understand and experience the culture.

Centres d'intérêt

I'm interested in biking, hiking, swimming, running, jumping, climbing,... Any activity that burns oxygen in my lungs and calories in my body. Last year I found out about Spartan Race I participated a couple of times. I've done skydiving and enjoyed it a lot. Next on the list is surfing - real one.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I like science fiction in both books and movies. Almost everyone has heard about Tolkien and his books and movies based on these books. I also like movies based on the comic books and graphic novels. Any adventure movies. I have never been good at distinguishing music genres but I enjoy listening to "White Stripe", "3 Doors Down", "Aerosmith" and sometimes i listen to "Rammstein". It really depends on my mood what music I listen to. Classic music is also quite pleasant. It all depends.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Once I travelled to California with my friend. We drove from Los Angeles to San Fransisco. We had some time so we decided to take US-1 - the most beautiful road as we heard. And it is true. On one side of the road there is the ocean, on the other side - mountains. We were driving at the sunrise and witnessed how the sun was climbing over the mountains and changing the colors of the world around us. There was a rock slide that day so we had to turn back and take a mountain road. It was so amazing and scary at the same time. Unforgettable experience!
