Overview
About Me
My photos probably say more about me than I could write...

Not really easy to do this - I'd say I'm very young in earth-years but have an old spirit - at the same time being a newborn child. I love feeling, learning, sharing, laughing - sounds so cliche...
PHILOSOPHY
Love unconditionally, live every day like it's your last...I firmly believe that with honesty, communication, and love, anything and everything is possible.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Couchsurfing has (oh-so-cliche) changed my life. Over the past 10 years, I have laughed, danced, cried, climbed, fallen, eaten, drank, slept, hugged, kissed, run, walked, cooked, discussed, dreamt, and loved with Couchsurfers.
Thank you to all the Couchsurfers who have graced my life all across the globe.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My travelling is largely couchsurfing with locals - in South America, all over Western Europe, the US, Middle East, and West Africa - it's the best - great home cooked food (or yummy food in restaurants!), local language, daily life, and tips on best places to go that aren't swarming in tourists...Through this site I've surfed in a dozen countries and counting!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music - I love anything with passion, beautiful stuff that makes you want to cry...or dance like crazy :)
Movies - I am a movie junkie but haven't watched as many movies these last few years since I was living in India - have some catching up to do ;) : Baraka, Mar Adentro, Amores Perros, Central Station, City of God, Leon, Red, Fight Club, anything Tarantino, Dreams by Akira Kurosawa, Amelie, anything Miyazaki, Almodovar, too many...
Books - anything by Haruki Murakami, Kafka, Goethe, Kite Runner, and I adore South American literature - Pablo Neruda, Isabel Allende, Gabriel Garcia Marquez (Cien Anos and Love in the Time of Cholera are among the best books of all time for me), Jorge Luis Borges, Horacio Quiroga, Ernesto Sabato...etc...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Too many to name - 10 koras (circumambulations) of Mount Kailash in Tibet, Tibet in the winter with all the pilgrims- Patagonia in the winter Vetisquero Perito Moreno (glacier) - Scuba diving in the Galapagos with hundreds of hammerhead sharks and rays...or staying in the Amazon hours by canoe from the nearest village...Umayyad Mosque in Damascus, Syria is breathtaking...
Teach, Learn, Share
Gentle people. Who don't have to speak to communicate. Positive. And, of course, I love learning more about cooking, or cooking for people (even more if we are cooking together and collaborating)...
What I Can Share with Hosts
