ABOUT ME

My name is Yuri, I'm 30, and I'm working as embedded software engineer, and I'm trying to travel as much as I can. With my wife we love to explore different countries, cultures, to learn new languages and get friends from all over the globe, and CS is giving a great opportunity to become a part of the local culture even for a short period.

PHILOSOPHY

In this field I can quote the words from song "Imagine" by John Lenonn:
"Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do

And no religion too

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I prefer to travel only with couchserfing because it's a great opportunity to meet a new friends from all over the world and it's also alternative way to travel - instead of excursions and rooms in hotel I can get unforgetable impressions with CS and I've already got!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm mad about music of 60-70's :)
I like The Beatles, The Doors, The Who, The Velvet Underground, David Bowie, The Stooges, Pink Floyd, RHCP, Rammstein and many many others.
And also I like classic English literature and literature of 19-20th century. My favorite writers are Jack London, Jules Verne, Arthur Conan Doyle and others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent one night in Paris on the street :)
I tried to sleep on the grass of the Mars field near the Eiffel tower.
When I woke up the first thing which I've seen was the Eiffel tower!
It was amazing but very cold :(
