ABOUT ME

Before I start, here are some basic rules if you wish to request to stay with me:
1. Maximum of 2 guests, no exceptions. My place simply cannot handle more.
2. Requests for stays must give at least 10 days notice.

I am an American, living in Northern Europe for the past four years mostly in Copenhagen. Living here I have learned to enjoy the moment, rather than always preparing for "something" in the future. To some degree, I like music, I like sports, I like cooking, I like to try all sorts of things...but what I really look forward to is traveling and meeting people from around the world. I love working in a multinational environment and trying to learn a new language. I like to go out for the nightlife as much as anyone else, but that doesn't define me. I'm just as happy to wake up early to go to a flea market!

I was convinced of this when I met some CouchSurfers when I was traveling

I enjoy experiencing new things, new places. This includes sports, foods, cultural events, everything! I'll try most anything once, just to see what it's like.

I'm an active person, so I like hiking, playing sports, city biking. I also used to work in the clothing industry, so I am interested in the different fashion styles from around the world (yet, I don't know how to dress myself well).

I also have old-man interests, like reading, and watching people go by while I have a drink. I will stop at every flea market I come by (that may be an old-lady interest)

I have hiked up a mountain during a rainstorm, reaching the peak, literally inside the rain clouds. A surreal experience.
