Overview
About Me
I am from Hatay, it is cosmopolitan place with a lot of different cultures.(it also has a well known cuisine:)) So that experiencing different cultures has always became excited to me. We can tell that I am travelling to feel at home.
I'm studying medicine in Istanbul. So I don't have a lot of free time. vacations are very precious to me. And being in relation with people is best practice for my future job.
Istanbul has a strong history and culture. It has a lot of different faces. It is crazy and silent at the same time. You should find what you want so you can develop yourself insanely.
Places that i have lived shaped , places that I've visited retouched, my life.
There are some people that changed my life and I want to be a person that can enrich people's life.
I am afraid of being defeated by the time. So upgrading myself is one of my aims.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
After touring the places without talking to anybody I felt that something was incomplete. It was like a cow watching the train. Then I realize that after a good company with a local, I was inhaling the thing that I need from the city. Travelling isn't just looking around. You need to complete the space with socializing. So that I am mostly travelling alone.
Even when I'm filling these blanks I can feel that feeling:)
Interests
I'm studying medicine,I have a great enthusiasm and passion for it. That is the way to make your job a lifestyle and get success.
Another thing that forms my lifestyle is my guitar. sometimes I can jam with it for hours and hours. It is a different kind of relation. And listening to the legends (Jimi Hendrix, BB King, Gary Moore, Eric Clapton, David Gilmour...) is the thing that feeds my conversation with my guitar.
Music is my life( CLICHE!)
I'm a member of Ten Club( Im still alive!:))(while requesting to stay with me please name any Pearl jam song to make me believe that you have read my profile:D)
I am trying to surf, black sea has some good waves for us in Turkey.
I've got a CMAS star but there is still a lot to see under the water.
I enjoy tasting differend kind of cuisine. Even if I don't like it, it gives a good feeling to me. I would like to taste local wines and beers. There may be something hidden inside.
I am planning to brew some beer after earning some experience. I tried to make some Turkish Rakı.
I am interested in pipes, I have an anitque pipe that I never tried.
I have an antique turntable, I like to collect vinyls. Analog music sounds cool!
And of course finding myself by travelling.(CLICHE!)

Music, Movies, and Books
There is a lot to say about music. I can't text all of them. I like to listen eastern and western composers. There are some musicians that can make them both together. It is another world to explore.
Blues is the way that I can express myself. I am practicing some jazz licks too.
Movies, hmm Dead Man. A lot to talk about it.
Books , there are a lot of course. Russian pscioanalysing, Kafka's veiwpoint, biographies, journey diaries... these things changed a lot on me.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
live the way I want.
Teach, Learn, Share
CS is an excellent school. Just by meeting people I can see the evolution that happens on my vision.
Sharing our trip memories is the best way to get inspired. I think this is the power of being on the road.
I can give some good camping, trekking, hiking, camping, hitchhiking... tricks about my country.
I'm not the best chef, but I can cook some turkish foods and make a Turkish coffee.
I really like to play guitar. I can show some licks and would like to learn some. Or we can jam along together :)
I like to help and learn any thing you are doing personally.
I am curious about the history of the places that I am visiting. We can talk about it.
