I was born and raised in Turkey. Left for the United States when I was 16 and had lived there for 8 years. So, that's a major chunk of my adult life. I currently work as an airline pilot. I like being in international settings and meeting people from all over the world. I respect everyone's right to explore truth in their own way. Not interested in meeting those looking for people to share common enemies with.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like being a tourist, being that silent observer, you can freely enjoy that special feeling of being out of an environment you are used to. However, sometimes being only a tourist makes me feel like I'm an outsider so I want to mingle with locals to really see how they live, make friends, exchange stories, and touch other souls.

Interests

I love doing sports. Every chance I get, I like to do offroad enduro-cross or adventure motorcycling. I like reading. I like exploring what makes up our sense of self. I'm interested in mysticism, spirituality and world history. I have been a mechanic all my life. I enjoy working with my hands.
