About Me

Hello, there! It's me Yusuf. I am 30 years old. Currently I live in my hometown city, Tanjung Pinang City, in Bintan Island. I've been living here again after previously live in Jakarta and Bandung.

Tanjung Pinang is so close to neighboring countries Singapore and Johor, Malaysia. Growing in this city, I have been exposed and influenced by the cultures of Singapore and Malaysia. We even share some of them! I think this is very good because it can open our minds and expand our knowledge as well.

I dedicate myself as a teacher in a junior high school, just 5 minutes walking from my home 😊.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Hiked a mountain in West Java without a tent and spent 2 nights there. It was hell in winter, lol.
- Did a solo trekking in East Java, through a narrow valley, explored nearby cave, in a rainy and almost-flooded condition. Just to reach the most beautiful waterfall in Indonesia. All by myself 😅.
- Rode my motorcycle alone for almost 10 hours from Bandung to Jakarta, with a bunch of baggages (very lot of baggages, for sure), in the middle of night, just to avoid police because I didn't have my vehicle license. And when I pass Puncak (a high altitude region), it was all misty and I drove like I was passing through a cloud. It was really wet of course.
- Crazy enough to visit and explore 5 countries in 8 days (if Indonesia is counted, then it's 6 countries). LoL
