ABOUT ME

Honduran born, Chicago bred, and current based out of Raleigh, North Carolina. Deep passion for the outdoors, any and activities included. I throw myself into extended backpacking trips, unplanned road trips, snowboarding, surfing, and all extreme sports alike. On the contrary, I do not shy away from lazy days at home or in any other environment. Love to experience situations with which I am not accustomed, and honestly strive for it.

PHILOSOPHY

Keep on, keepin on. I treat others with trust, respect, and loyalty until they lose it. Im a lover, not a fighter.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Plan to do as much as I can for this community, although I have not done anything officially for this couch surfing network or interacted too much yet.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Like stated previously, I do not have any couch surfing officially linked to this community, I have definitely done my share outside....Yes, I am a newbie. I recently spent a few months in Durango, Colorado bumming on a long-time friend's couch. Experienced the culture there and self-describe it as a "drinking town, with a skiing problem."

I am not picky, I love to experience anything new or previously experienced. Why should we give life only one chance? However, I do enjoy some things more than others.. extreme sports and outdoors activities included.

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid hands down. I will watch almost anything that is not directed by Michael Bay, however sometimes I do stoop to such standards. I love Kurt Vonnegut novels and short stories. As for music, I was raised by my hippie mother so that is a vast subject we could start with that if we meet! Not into new country, although I do love me some Townes Van Zandt and Roger Miller.

Know your environment, the outdoors as much as indoors. When life takes you by surprise, the woods are your best friend.People notice negative and positive traits in a person, to judge right off the bat is never for the best. Let your positive additions out way you negative. Im still young and learning, so who am I to preach?
