Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have always thought that it would be an amazing idea to host someone through Couchsurfing because I believe it is a great way to meet people from all over the world and share your life stories and also introduce the city that you live in.

Interests

I love travelling. I think I have visited more than 20 countries so far. I have just come back from my vacation to Chiang Mai, Thailand. It was a beautiful experience.
Some of the places I would like to visit next is South America, China, and the Philippines.

I like watching soccer, although my favourite sport is basketball. I love watching the NBA. My favourite team is the Toronto Raptors, my favourite player is probably Kyrie Irving who plays for Brooklyn.

I also love learning languages because not only it is amazing to communicate with someone with another language, but it is also great to learn about different cultures through the process.

Music, Movies, and Books

I usually read novels and self-help books.
I am a person who would read my favourites over and over again. For the longest time, I had kept reading books by Haruki Murakami.

At the moment, I have just started reading a book called "Obasan"which is written by a Japanese Canadian writer. I am enjoying reading it so far.

Rock music is my favourite genre of music. I listen to some Japanese bands, but I mostly listen to bands from North America and the UK.

For films, I like films that have been direceted by Christopher Nolan and Richard Linklater. The most recent film I have seen in the cinema is a Korean film called Burning. It is based on a short story called "Barn Burning" by Haruki Murakami.
