About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Preparing for MBA

ABOUT ME

My friends say that I am down to earth, patient, adaptable, and kind. Also most of my close friends say that I like eating and drinking.

I am interested in art, history, travel, foreign languages, business, entrepreneurship, wine, beer, Southeast Asian food, old houses, and so on.

I like animals, but I neglected too many animals such as golden fish and turtles when I was a child, so currently I have no pets.

PHILOSOPHY

Focus on possibilities, not limitations.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

2 years ago, I lived in an international shared house in Tokyo with 14 people from all over the world, and one of them, a Lithuanian woman, was a couch surfer and told me about CS. Recently I remembered her story and decided to participate in CS.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not yet. I am a beginner.

Interests

I am an ad-venture capitalist in Tokyo. I bicycled from Dhaka, Bangladesh, to Calcutta, India, climbed the highest mountains in Japan, walked in the thick jungle in Papua New Guinea, and stayed in a desert island in the South Sea. I also lived with an international shared house in Tokyo with 14 people from Korea, China, USA, Canada, Germany, France, UK, Lithuania, and Japan. I work for VC firm in Tokyo, so I am interested in business and entrepreneurship, too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to India with my mountain bike and had it stolen in Delhi by a group of elementary school children when I had them to use my bike. I weeped alone at that night in a room of a guesthouse I stayed in.
