Hi! I'm Yuwei (Or you can call me Ivy).

I was born and raised in Nanjing, China until 15. Then, i moved to Singapore for studies, and now working.

I am curious about almost everything, and especially in connecting with people! I used to work in the IT industry, but recently realized that Teaching/ Studying how people Learn is what I enjoy the most. So i will soon start my career in teaching in Jan 18.

I am learning Bellydance, and hope to learn Lindy Hop next. I believe Dancing is one of the best ways to express oneself and to interect with others.

I always wish i could live multiple lives. But as for now (when technology does not allow that yet), I Read and Travel to see, feel and experience.

When I am not working, dancing or traveling, I am probably Eating (I love all cuisines, and have yet discovered any cuisine that I don't favor), and Introducing my friends to each other which I feel they will strike an interesting conversation (I am an awesome match-maker by the way, with a pretty high successful rate >90%).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I don't want to be just another tourist, but get hands dirty and live a different life (temporarily)!

I believe magic happens when people get together :)

and I prefer to save $ on accomodation, and rather spend on food, learn new things and travel to more places.
