I am an Australian exchange student studying in Washington State. I'm doing a Conservation and Wildlife Biology degree so I'm very interested in the outdoors aswell as the environment. Over the Summer I'm doing an all American trip with a friend and looking for places to crash!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing so I can meet local people which will give me a better understanding of the places I visit! Staying in hostels is fun, but you only meet other tourists so your range of doable activities is reduced whereas you can do much more with people who know the area. I also want to meet interesting people who I can have interesting conversations with and teach me new things.

Interests

I have recently become an outdoorsy person since I moved to the US and now I enjoy hiking, rock-climbing (I'm a novice) and archery. I'm also a bit of a foodie and love eating at interesting restaurants with flavours I have never encountered before.

It's hard to say what your favourite music is because I like almost everything from Indy music to techno. My favourite artists are: Mac Demarco, KAYTRANADA, Childish Gambino, Kendrick Lamar, Glass Animals, etc.

My favourite movies are: Her, 28 Days Later, GATTACA, Into the Wild,

I plan on reading more books, but I have recently read a few comic book series such as, The Walking Dead and Y: The Last Man (highly recommend it)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went on a 6 month Eurotrip with a friend after highschool, and backpacked through many different countries and met many amazing people.

I have a fun personality, I am always up to trying new things and love to include new people in activities! If you like to cook I'm always happy to help and gain more culinary knowledge from people!
