About Me
Hi there!
Now 27 years old, living in the Hague. Below some of my old travellers experience!
I'm a 25-year old girl from the Netherlands. I study/studied Bio-Pharmaceutical Sciences at Leiden University, specializing in fundamental cancer research. Therefore I have lived in Leiden for 6 years already. In december I was supposed go to Boston to do an internship and complete my masters degree. Life happened and I decided to cancel and take time for myself, so the cliché of travel and soulsearching. I had never traveled the USA before, now I've seen New England including Boston and the countryside around Buffalo, NY. I also visited south east Canada (the cities and some countryside) in the winter and beginning of spring but I absolutely loved it! I do workaway experience combined with travel and Couchsurfing!
I enjoy to read, run, swim, to bake or cook and to be out in nature to walk or be around animals in general (horses, dogs, cats). I have visited several countries in Europe, but also went to Israel recently. Last year I traveled Vietnam and had my first solo-travel experience in Cambodia, which I enjoyed a lot!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm looking to get out of my introvert comfort zone, meet new people and to restore my faith in humanity, to find out how wonderful they can be. I also like to learn about different life's and cultures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I travelled Cambodia for 10 days on my own, without any planning. I loved this, the freedom it gave me, how easy it was to meet people, the atmosphere of backpacking. Mostly I loved the country, it was so beautiful, which such an impressive history.
Also, I have just completed my first workaway experience, at a horse farm in western New York State. It was an amazing experience and my host were the sweetest, most selfless people I've met. I also experienced American Countryside, the stereotype and the struggles that are present for most there and I met Amish people! Is was so great and I'm very grateful to my hosts.

I can help you with some English or if you're interested, tell you something about the world of biomedical science and cancer research.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can help you out with whatever you want: clean, get some groceries, run an errand for you. I'm a respectful and very silent person so I will trouble you as little as possible.
