I'm Yvette, 29 years old, living in Rotterdam. I studied history and American Studies, worked as a historical researcher on WOII. Later I tried my hands on script writing for animation movies for companies. I loved it, but wanted to develop more and since a few months I am proposal writer for a large company near Rotterdam. Writing is my passion and I have a website about art, design and architecture to practice it (www.museologue.com). And of course my other passion is traveling, which I do eagerly and regularly. My best trips ever? Myanmar and the Azores!

I love meeting new people in the countries I visit. It's always a surprise what will happen and often it leads to inspiring conversations or ending up in places you'd otherwise never come. Sometimes I travel alone and then it's especially nice to socialize and share experiences. When I travel together with my boyfriend just as much so, though, as he is even more social bunny than me :)

My interests are very broad, as long as there a story or a surprising twist you will find in me interested. In my free time I love to see art, listen to music or play it (I play guitar, drums, and sing), go out for dinner with friends, or hike in the mountains (only on trips because there are no mountains in my country).

My favorite music is jazz, guitar music, and anything in between and beyond. I love seeing movies and will mostly go for the 'soft' ones. And I prefer books that are based on real stories or history.
