About Me

Hiya, this is my first time being on couchsurfing.com , I heard of couchsurfing for years by friends of mine who travel alot, and it is so interesting of how this works!

I've ended my services with my ex-company on 16th Mar to visit Japan and now, to embark on a new journey of freelancing :D

If you're wondering what i do as a freelancer, I'm currently doing animated voice overs for local cartoons, but I'm not limiting myself to that alone , I'm trying to explore on many areas of work that comes my way haha! I was a junior producer at an audio post house for advertising, and before that, a jack-of-all trades in the audio department in an animation company in Malaysia.

I'm friendly and i'm a pleasant company by proxy. I'm quite chilled and I love making new friends and I believe in being friends till death do us part (for realz yo). I enjoy a good time with friends at a mamak/music gigs (If you don't know what a mamak is, please come to Malaysia and i will bring you there (^_^) It's a nice place to have supper and most of them operate 24 hrs).
I appreciate good conversations, good company, good experiences.

CURRENT MISSION:

It is a Revamp-Von year. To gain personal growth, and unleash my fullest potential of the best person I can be personally and professionally.
I wish to be able to meet new people, seize life opportunities, broaden my mindset, gain new perspectives in life , be okay with insecurities and gain the confidence and believing in people.

I know it's a typical thing to say, but i really do hope to find answers that I'm looking for in this supposed soul-searching/self-liberating/carpe diem-trip.

PHILOSOPHY:

"The comfort zone is the great enemy to creativity; moving beyond it necessitates intuition, which in turn configures new perspectives and conquers fears. " - Dan Stevens

"Life isn't about finding yourself, it's about creating yourself" - Unknown

"Hugging is a good medicine" -Anonymous
It really is. Sometimes, a hug gives you the warmth and reassurance you need that everything is going to be okay :) I dare you to hug a stranger! And hope for them to not slap you haha!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To try it first-hand instead of just listening to what people say, and perceive good /bad things about it but never experience it myself.
So instead of just having a theory of it, this time i decided I should try it out myself :)
I know that I can't justify it by just saying it here, but I do keep clean and am hygienic especially staying at people's places.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I learned Japanese when I was in highschool. I didn't think it would stick with me, but it did and I've met alot of Japanese people because of it and it never fails to amaze me how I could remember being able to converse the language after years of lack of practice.

I can teach you Malay and Mandarin if you're interested and the cultures of Malaysia if you haven't been here before :)
