First, to be clear, English and Hebrew are my fluent languages but I can also communicate fairly in Spanish and French.

I am mother of two and grandmother of six. Love my family, people in general, learning languages, playing the piano (even poorly) and working in my field.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couchsurfing to meet people and also to bring down the price of my travel and to afford the same opportunities to others, when possible.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I met Shimon Peres in an elevator, thought he looked familiar, and questioned him until he told me his name. The full story is on my Facebook page.

I've done other amazing things (less embarrassing and more altruistic) but although a few come to mind, mostly when you do something amazing, you enjoy the good feeling for a little bit and then you pass on to the rest of your life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I put a lot of individual effort (effort on my own, outside of classes) into learning languages as well as developing ways for other people to learn. I will be happy to converse in English and other languages with my hosts and with my guests, whatever they prefer.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a graduate of an English Tutoring program at the reknowned Beit Berl Teacher's College in Israel. I can share my knowledge and skills at teaching English with anyone who is truly interested in practicing their English and applying some effort to improving it.

I can also help with English correspondence, resumes, school work and research papers by editing. If the work is for an English course (i.e. for English Students).
