I am an active person, always like to have something to do. I live in the heart of Transylvania, and I love my hometown. I also love to travel and meet new people, try new things. I am a good listener, but not very talkative (working on this!)

I just started using couchsurfing. I would like to participate both as guest and as host.

Interests

I like reading, traveling, music and movies, dancing, singing (although I don't have voice, so I just sing for myself :) ), sports (biking, trekking, swimming, walking).
I love animals, playing with my cats and dog.
I like food and good wine. I like both tea and coffee. I like to try new things.
I am a passionate activist for ecological and human and animal rights.

Music, Movies, and Books

My tastes are very diverse.
Movies - all kinds, depending on my mood: documentaries, comedies, drama, action movies, thrillers (though I can't sleep after that), Romanian movies (of course). I recommend "The Child's Pose". Loved "Wadja" (this got the audience award at Transylvania International Film Festival - TIFF - Cluj in 2013).
Music: rock, classical, opera, pop, blues, etc. Recent discoveries: Einaudi, and Sixto Rodriguez.
Books: novels mostly, biographies, psychological, philosophy, etc. Recently read and loved "Chicago" by Alaa al Aswany, "The Hero's Daughter" by Andrei Makine, and "Journal" by Oana Pellea, a Romanian actress.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Protest against environmentally damaging projects in my country, together with thousands of amazing people.
