Overview
About Me
I am super excited to start a masters program in anthropology at the University of Chicago during which I will be able to research the influence of gender relations and language over social movements in Morocco. I try to spread as much positive energy around me as possible. Part of the reason why I chose to study anthropology is that I am passionate about people, their stories, and their own experience. I don't know you, but I already know I would love to get to know you!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to be able to be a tourist, but I like to get to know the people who live in the space that I visit as well. Couchsurfing is the best way to combine both of these goals at the same time! I would also not be able to travel around the globe without this the opportunity to couchsurf, so I can only achieve both these goals or none at all!
So far, I've always had the chance to visit cities or countries where my friends and family lived. This time around, I want to go somewhere that will be unknown and where I will have to find my way to be able to get to know people.
Interests
When I'm traveling, I love to explore grocery stores and find what locals usually buy and then learn how to cook like them.
I enjoy talking about books, tv shows, movies and podcasts over couple glasses of wine or pints of beer.
Finally, you can be sure that if there is an event that involves the outdoors and learning new things, listening to music, or watching an artistic exhibition, I will be down.
