HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Its been a while since I’ve hosted or surfed and in the meantime I have had the most amazing journey expecting and raising this beautiful little human being. My household has changed a lot and things are less flexible now, but we are open to meeting new kind souls.

Since I've been a member of CS I can say it made the world so much smaller and my own world a lot bigger! This network is like being part of the world's biggest family. A beautiful way to share and make the world a connected playground full of friends I haven't met yet.

Many new members are sending out requests not even having read profiles. This is not fair to the people who daily create this network by sharing their lives and being as hospitable as they can be. You just need a place to stay? You're only asking the people in this network to give to you without having anything to give in return? Please don't write me. My home is not a free hostel where you can crash for your early flight. It makes me very sad when I feel I hosted someone who showed no interest or appreciation for opening my own home and life to them.
