Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Now? I just back to my hometown, and my former mates are either gone or really boring. That leaves me with not enough people to organize hiking trips or other outdoor activities, which is what tourists are really into, so it can be mutually beneficial. Even if my house is relatively small, it's more than enough for one person, I have 2 spare rooms, so one of them can be turned into a guest room. My job schedule is quite flexible, so I can join in if you have something planned.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None, to be honest. I've just gone to meetups in other places, but the community here is pretty much dead, which is strange, since it's a quite interesting touristic destination.

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many to list. Aside from the classics, I enjoy horror movies, especially the really bad ones. As far as music is concerned, I listed to Chillout, Blues and Jazz. Books? I won't pretend I'm more well read than I am. Probably just spent the last 7 years just reading stuff for med school.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Survived being run over with a car. Two stabbings. Being shot. Escaped from a burning house. (I think I've got more lives than Super Mario).

Teach: Emergency First aid. Physiology. Basic Photography.
Learn: Advanced Photography. Any kind of self defense techniques. Juggling. Piano.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Aside from my place, if you have something booked I can show you the local spots and help you avoid tourist traps, probably drive you around (I drive a coupe, so if it's more than one, someone will have to go in the trunk). And of course the pleasure of my company if you plan on doing some outdoor trips.
