My name is Zac I'm currently living in Australia in a van but have been bouncing around between a few different countries over the last 5 years. I studied product design so have had the best time designing and building the van and will start on a bigger and better one back in New Zealand later this year.
I like to be around people that are either active or creative so we can bounce energy and ideas off each other.

after traveling around with friends and my dad I have found the cheapest places usually bring the best stories and best experiences. I am an advocate of freedom camping but also respecting the places you stay. The place you stay while travelling should be as memorable if not more than the places you visit.

I am into snowboarding, sailing skating, surfing, kitesurfing, freediving/spearfishing, rock climbing and most things outside, design, photograpy, painting and drawing. I find I meet people who inspire me to get hooked on new activities all the time. And I feel that I do the same with the people I meet.

Books, Ive really liked include Ishmael by Daniel Quinn, homo Deus and sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari, one straw revolution, Zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance, retro suburbia, the art of free travel, let my people go surfing, barbarian days, anything by Harlan Coben and Carl Hiaasen. And always sharing and learning new authors.

I have learnt a lot over the last few years. I don't want to travel aimlessly collecting experiences. I want to learn and teach useful life skills, in particular food production techniques and the use of natural materials.

I can offer creative services like photography and drawings, culinary lessons in sourdough and fermentation, or just cook some meals for you. Maybe some basic permaculture practises or surf lessons or at least help with jobs around the house.
