Overview
About Me
I am an archaeologist from Auckland, New Zealand, recently graduated with my masters degree at the University of Auckland. I have worked as both a researcher and tutor in archaeology, but am travelling Europe to have new experiences and enjoy myself before I crack on with my career.
I am known to be kind, down to earth and easy going amongst my friends. At the same time, I am clean and tidy, punctual and hard working. I am very keen to meet new people and grow as a person through coach surfing!
I love hearing new music, learning new languages and trying new food and drinks (especially coffee and interesting beer).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to meet locals, learn new languages and have new experiences that I wouldn't otherwise have if I was staying in another form of accommodation.
Interests
I have played flamenco guitar for about 8 years now - both casually and professionally. I am keen to meet and jam with other musicians in my travels.
I love the outdoors: tramping, fishing, swimming, diving and just enjoying beautiful scenery.
As I am an archaeologist, I am very keen on history and archaeology, so I love visiting historical sites and museums.

My music! I love to perform with my guitar. Otherwise, I can share my casual and relaxed company and share stories of my travels and life in New Zealand.
I am happy to help with people learning English, as I hope to learn more Spanish in my travels as well.
