I'm a proud Kiwi currently living in New Zealand (although I was born in Sydney, Australia)! I previously spent 8 years in America where I played soccer at a University and met my beautiful wife! I'm super layed back, open minded, and love meeting new people! Hearing stories from people's life journey and their own philosophy on living is one of my favourite things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Like I said, meeting new people is one of my favourite things. And backpackers or couch surfers are typically like minded people who share the same zeal and passion for life as I do.

Interests

Anything out in nature I love, especially trail running! I enjoy photography and making little video edits, but football/soccer is my greatest love. I've played since I was young and am a huge Liverpool fan! Really anything that's social or helps me appreciate the beauty of things around me I tend to enjoy. Being in the moment and making memories, celebrating life and growing as an individual.

Music, Movies, and Books

Big movie fan! The Intouchables, Perks of Being a Wallflower, Whiplash, and the James Bond series are among my favourite. Also love a good book - the Tale of Two Cities and Harry Potter are up there for me, but I also dig a good biography.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've done a lot of hiking and have seen some pretty spectacular views. Sunsets and sunrises never get old to me either. I also have a book that's filled with photos of hitchhikers I've picked up in New Zealand and other people I've met in my travels.

Teach, Learn, Share

I usually have some pretty good yarns and stories to share. Football is a passion I've so love to share time kicking a ball about and what not. And of course I come from Middle Earth so can tell you all about those Hobbits!
