About Me

I like to learn from everyone and anyone. I believe that we all have something that we can share with others and it is important to do so. It doesn’t matter where we are from or who we are, the world is a better place when we open ourselves up and experience things together. I am an easygoing person, open-minded and always with a smile :) I love travelling for its ability to open my mind to new places, ideas and most importantly the wonderful people you can meet all over the world. That is also why I love Couchsurfing!

I am a big environmentalist and care about the world around us. I try to take care of it in my work as an environmental engineer, and how I live my day to day life (transport, food, avoiding excess). I lived in London for over 3 years so know the city pretty well and can offer good tips on some interesting places to go, some ‘off the beaten track’ walks and where to eat cheap and tasty food. I have recently returned from Argentina and Chile where I had many amazing Couchsurfing experiences. Now I am home I would love to share similar yet distinct experiences with you! I currently live in the countryside with my parents. We grow a lot of our own fruit and vegetables. There is great access to exploring the outdoors as well as traditional English villages.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It is an amazing way to experience the true culture and way of living that you normally would not see. I have had amazing, eye-opening experiences abroad and hope to offer the same for you here at my home.

I know there are good people all over the world and couchsurfing really highlights this.

Interests

I like travelling to meet locals and learn about their country or region.
At home I like to cook, play cards or board games, listen to music, watch films, or just sit an chat over a meal.

I love the outdoors and cycle a lot, play football, squash, tennis, skateboard, snowboard, climb, hike, run.
I’m an active, energetic guy and love to get out and about.

I also do like a good beer or glass of wine!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a wide range of music but some favourites are: Explosions in the Sky, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Songhoy Blues

My favourite author is probably John Steinbeck.
But I also love to read books on language and linguistics, science etc.

I watch all types of films and documentaries. I am pretty open minded. I also love watching foreign films.

I really love doing music and film ‘swaps’ with other couchsurfers, where we each recommend a film and/or album that the other should watch/listen to.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Caminar solo 3 días, conectando los parques nacionales en las montañas de Chile. No se escuchaba nada menos ruidos naturales y había que seguir el camino utilizando GPS y a veces las huellas del puma.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love languages, learning and teaching about different cultures. I like fixing things that are broken or turning something broken into something new. Cooking
I am more than happy to help with any housework

What I Can Share with Hosts

Te puedo ayudar a aprender (más) inglés, cocinar, más que contento a ayudar con el aseo, o solo sentarnos a hablar y aprender de nuestras culturas.

Soy muy abierto y me gusta compartir con todos.
