I'm Zach, and I'm pretty sure I was born in the wrong town. Nothing about where I live really "feels" like home, and now that I'm in my 20's I'm starting to realize that. Also, now that I'm in my 20's, I'm in a much better position to do something about it. Recently I've traveled to Alaska, Washington, and Oregon. Almost every summer I head to northern Michigan. Besides just enjoying travel immensely, I hope to eventually find either a place to settle down, or the realization that I never want to settle down. I crave as much freedom as I can possibly obtain. I crave as many experiences as I can have as well.

Current Mission:
I never feel right unless I'm working toward something. For a while it was my degree, then license. Now I'm trying to become a true nurse with real experience before entering school again to become a physician or nurse practitioner. During all of this, I hope to explore and live an enjoyable life. I want to live everywhere.

Philosophy:
Be kind, use the time you have on Earth wisely. Don't buy into bullshit. Strive for the authentic. Seek as many experiences as possible. Help when you can. Leave a place better than when you arrived.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I hope to travel more, as often as possible. Nurses don't make a ton of money, so I hope to save by sleeping on couches. Also, a lot of the greatest memories made while traveling are from meeting new and interesting people, so I figure this is a good way to do that.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I once took a long (4 hour) bus ride into Denali National Park in Alaska, assuming I'd take the same bus back for another 4 hours. When we got to the little resort-like thing that was the end of the bus ride, we were offered seats (not for free) in a single engine plane back to our cabin. We flew within 1-2 miles of the peak of Mt. McKinley. It was excellent. I'd tell you a cool story about saving a life but I've not been a nurse for very long yet :o

I have great love for music, if you consider that share-able. I can play guitar and I like to sing if you're into impromptu jam sessions.
