Música, películas y libros
A lot of what I listen to is non-lyrical, ambient music because I use music as a method of focusing in on things like writing or thinking. When I'm not geeking out over my schoolwork, I enjoy '90s rock, Classic rock, Indie, and Alternative music.
Most of the books I read are academic for school, but I'm a nerd and I actually enjoy them as well. Politics and foreign policy are the majority of what I read. Does the news count, too?
Algo increíble que he hecho
Well, I'm currently writing a book about the legality of colonizing space and using resources that exist on the Moon and on Mars. It's probably the most challenging thing that I've ever attempted, but I find the subject very interesting.
Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones
I'm a food lover, so I can definitely prepare hosts traditional Louisiana dishes like gumbo, étouffée, jambalaya, beignets, and po-boys. Trust me, Louisiana food is the best food you'll find across the entire United States, maybe even the world! No, I'm not kidding; it's that good.
I speak French and love to practice it in conversations. My favorite pastime is getting to know people and making new friends.
Louisiana is a hidden cultural gold mine in the United States - cajun culture in unlike anywhere else, and New Orleans is a culture entirely on its own. I can share with you the experiences, ideas, and stories that I have from growing up in the Deep South.
