I'm serving in the military. In my free time I love to read, draw, paint and eat delicious food. I'm very unfunny, but I try to have a sense of humor about things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Changing locations is a big part of the military and I wanted to offer my spare bedroom to military individuals moving to the area. If you are moving to San Diego, CA or just passing through, you are welcome to crash here with us while looking for a home to rent. Just please don't be a murderer or something because we'd have some fundamental differences in some key topics.

Music, Movies, and Books

Just boring stuff like musical show tunes and all that jazz. I like reading sophisticated literature like art guides, NATOPS manuals and MAD Magazine. I like Harry Potter and Shakespeare, too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, this is probably only amazing to me, but while vacationing with my wife in Minnesota, I had an opportunity to meet my absolute favorite cartoonist in his home. I shared a bottle of wine with him and sat in his studio chair. It was pretty incredible for me as an aspiring cartoonist.

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't know what this means. Like, am I supposed to teach you something? Okay, I'm really bad at the ukulele, so I can teach you how to suck at that.

What I Can Share with Hosts
