Hello, my name it Zach. I love to explore new places and travel. When adventure calls I'm ready for it. I like to scuba dive, and do spearfishing and underwater video/photography along with it. I like to hike and find beautiful places to enjoy, and photograph. I like to live like a local when I travel and see local historic places as well as the obscure.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really enjoy meeting new people/making new friends. Experiences are so much better when in the company of friends. If none are traveling with me then I guess I just have to make new ones. I feel that staying with locals/new friends adds to the experience of traveling and makes it a lot more fun.

Interests

I have a lot of hobbies and skills. I guess you could call me a jack of all trades. I am an avid Scuba Diver. I am a Divemaster with PADI International. As I said I love to travel, hike, explore, and meet new people. My faith is very important to me, but I am not a judgmental person and accept others for who they are and what they believe. I like to immerse myself in the culture of where I visit. I like to experience and learn about history, find obscure places/sites, and enjoy the culinary delights that all cultures offer.

Music, Movies, and Books

Besides reading the Bible, I like a lot of classic literature. Wold as well as English. They are classics for a reason and I have a profound respect for the old masters. I also enjoy reading books on various subject matter that interests me.
