ABOUT ME

I recently graduated from college, and I actively strive to live every single day to the fullest. You'll only live once so enjoy the life you have, and wang chung the rest of the time! I have two bachelor degrees, yet I bartend in South Georgia. I guess dreams really do come true.

PHILOSOPHY

It is an awesome blessing to be alive and a human. Despite all the travesties happening daily, I believe we must constantly and consciously strive for excellence or life will be forsaken. Be kind to one another.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love meeting new people and making new friends so feel free to join me! |Come sit at my bar! I make a hell of a drink! Also, being that I am from Valdosta born and raised, I literally know everyone in the town. I know all the great places to go as well as the nightlife locations that are the most entertaining. You would never meet a stranger with me. Guaranteed!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As I am writing this, I am surfing for the first time, and I have to say the waves are enormous! Just kidding, but really, I am in Ireland and having the time of my life. Our host has been incredibly gracious and hospitable. Apparently "southern hospitality" is an international language that not only we Georgians speak.

Interests

My interests are eclectic and intensely varied. Any kind of athletic activity sparks my interest as well as reading, writing, debating, any kind of crafts, commiserating, flying by the seat of my pants, and enjoying a great conversation. Mostly I enjoy just the fellowship I have with my friends. I live in the country on a large amount of land so hunting and fishing are some of favorite pasttimes (country I know). When I am not working, you can usually find me somewhere in town having a few beverages with buddies.

Music, Movies, and Books

If you can name it, I have probably read it, seen it, or played it. Some of my favorite movies include literally all the Broken Lizard films like Super Troopers, Beerfest, etc. Also Van Wylder, The Avengers, Thor, and |Cabin in the Woods. I greatly all the Tucker Max novels and any self help books. I can play the trumpet and the piano as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have had the pleasure of seeing many things and meeting thousands of awesome people. The list is extensive. My favorite would have to be all the near-death experiences I have had. My lust for life has manifested itself due to the numerous times that I have been informed of its fragility.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have learned that we are all in this together. It is not like we have a backup earth to move to after we have destroyed this one. Surfing has taught me that life has to be a collective effort of joy and perserverance. Forsaking these has real consequences. Yes we need a place to rest our heads at night, but the fellowship and joy shared with fellow human beings makes the sleep that much sweeter.
