As a maths teacher I want to try and make maths education innovative and exciting for students. For that I hope to travel the world and understand how maths is taught around the world.

I am a Maths teacher from Kenya and my interests are in innovative pedagogy in Maths teaching. I love traveling and trying out local cuisine from around the world. I am an easygoing person who likes to have a good laugh.

I like folk music and independent films. I usually only end up reading academic books, but my favorite non-academic book is Who Moved my Cheese.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I began integrating Information Technology with school teaching which was widely recognized and the initiative was finally taken up by the Ministry of Education in Kenya.

I would be able to exchange my experience as a teacher who has grown up and worked in Kenya which is a beautiful and fascinating country. I have also worked in other parts of Africa including Ghana and Uganda and can share my wonderful engagements there.
