Overview
About Me
I grew up in Boston, lived for a while in San Francisco, and moved to Berlin in 2013. I have become a huge fan of life in the global community! One of my favorite aspects of living in Berlin is how many different cultures I get to interact with every day. My community of friends is made up of transplants from all over the world, and it's lovely to see how integrated life is here.
I love to meet people form other walks of life, to travel and see new communities, and to see the world from as many different angles as possible.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting people from different parts of the world. When traveling, I'd much rather stay with someone and make a new friend, to get a glimpse of their neighborhood through their own eyes.
I also love to host. I'm still relatively new to Berlin, and I love to show off my new home to visitors. It's such an exciting city, and it's always a pleasure to share what makes Berlin special to me.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love many kinds of music, but my current favorite genre is a blend of balkan music styles with East coast punk. I read a lot of non-fiction, mostly history. Howard Zinn is an all time favorite!
I don't watch many movies, but I can get really into a good series. Game of Thrones is a current favorite...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent a summer when I was 19 traveling the US and Canada by motorcycle. It was a great experience. I met so many amazing people, both from North America, and also other travelers from around the world. I also got to appreciate a sense of scale that is lost when traveling by air, or even train!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm a great cook, and would love to make dinner for my host! I also love to learn new things in the kitchen, so if you have a favorite dish, I'd be happy to learn how to make it.
