My name is Zach, as it says and I am an adventurer. I'm on a backpacking trip across the country and anywhere else my adventure might take me. I like space, science and pretty much anything really. I'm always ready for something new.

CURRENT MISSION: Explore the world, learn about myself and about life. Meet cool people and make great friends. Maybe become a bit of a comedian on the side.

Life is an adventure. The most brilliantly designed adventure in existence. I strive to learn everything I can about it. I seek to enjoy life in every way possible. Only here once, so I want to get the absolute most out of it. I like to share this with the people around me that they might experience some of the wonder that I see everywhere around me.

WHAT'S NEXT
I intend to insert myself into the commercial space industry as the head of an interplanetary freight and/or mining company. Asteroids are rich for mining, and the solar system is ripe for exploration and advancement. And now is the age to take advantage of it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm traveling all over the world, and I want to meet new people and share their view of their home city and view the world from as many pairs of eyes as I can. I want to make friends and see what there is to learn. My father used couch surfing extensively and recommended it to me so I am giving it a try to see what happens! I've heard plenty of good things about it and I would like to see what I can learn, or even teach :)

I like all kinds of movies, music is incredibly important to me, and books too. Too many to count on every category. Safe to say I probably like it, or am interested in seeing it through someone else's eyes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I dropped everything in my life to go on a sojourn across the US. For many couch surfers this may seem trivial but it very big for me and is very exciting. I left my home in anchorage Alaska to travel the world and here I am exploring!

Travelled 100 miles on foot from Scranton PA to East Hannover NJ to get to an REI.

I can fix pretty much ANYTHING. I am really good at figuring things out. If there's something I don't understand, I strive to figure it out. For example: I want to learn to cook. I'm really interested in free running/parkour and would love to learn about that. I can sew... Kinda... So learning in that department is also in my goal book. Truthfully I want to learn as much as I can about anything I can because knowledge fascinates me. I hold a wonder for the world around me, and I make my dreams reality. This is often foreign for those I meet, but I am always happy to share my world with those around me on hopes they might gain something from it as well.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Like I said, I can fix nearly anything. I'm resourceful and really good at figuring stuff out. Never shy from a challenge and I'm ready to help with anything I can. I hold a perspective of life that is full of wonder and I won't let anything get in the way of my dreams. I'm on my way to great things and I can show you how to do the same if you like.
