I am from a small town in western New York, USA. I've grown up loving to explore, meet folks, have good conversation, and spend as much time outside as possible ("The Mountains are calling and I must go" JM). Couchsurfing across Europe for a few weeks fulfilled all of those desires, and now that I'm back in the States, I'm working on my studies and interspersing my time with as many of these things as possible.

A little while ago I spent a month Couchsurfing through Europe, which was incredible experience. From being led up Mountains by a Swiss to exploring a small French town with some cultured Ex-Pats, my hosts did not disappoint. Hopefully I can provide these experiences for others traveling in the US, as soon as I settle down and find my own place...

I fill my time with a variety of things outside of school, including art (painting), guitar, playing sports such as tennis and soccer, hiking, camping, rock climbing, kayaking and exploring. I would love to have the chance to do any of these things during my travels!

Music: I enjoy acoustic solo guitar music, and a variety of independent and folk artists. When this gets too mellow, the classics come on.

Books: I like a good fiction, such as The Life of Pie or the classic stories of Robin Hood. I've also been reading some philosophical/religious books of late, such as Plato, Pascal, C.S Lewis, so on.

Years ago, I went Bungee Jumping off of the bridge at Victoria Falls in Africa. Wow, that was quite the adrenaline rush! If you've ever experienced a free fall before, you know what I mean.
