Overview
About Me
25 year old from Singapore. Graduated from university last year, currently trying to collect as many interesting experiences as I can while figuring my life out. :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I had a great time couchsurfing while I was on a 6-month exchange in Europe – staying with locals while travelling solo allows me to get to know the places on a more intimate level instead of merely touching base.
Will be headed to Japan for 2 months from Aug – Oct 2018 and I wanna try out as many alternative living options as I can!
Interests
I was a film major in university, and I have been an avid fan of films for the past five years. Some of my favourite directors include Hirokazu Kore-eda, Krzysztof Kieslowski and Tsai Ming Liang.
Recent favourite films are Call Me By Your Name (Luca Guadagnino), Have a Nice Day (Jian Liu), and Loveless (Andrey Zvyagintsev).
Aside from film, I love reading books as well; some of my favourite writers are Haruki Murakami, JD Salinger and David Foster Wallace.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Gone skiing in the swiss alps (!) and/or falling asleep from one end of the subway to the other and back again, either one works.
Teach, Learn, Share
Well I can do some neat card tricks -__- or i could teach you some singlish, which is the uniquely Singaporean way of speaking (or ruining) English.
Definitely up for staying up all night and talking film, music and literature (:
What I Can Share with Hosts
Singapore, and more generally, Asian culture! If possible I could even cook up some asian dishes heh heh and tell u all about the country where u (almost) can't chew gum.
