About Me
Taking a year off university to start a government internship in September, so I'm spending the summer travelling across Canada! This summer, I have been a painter, a stock clerk, a cashier, and a web designer- not really jobs very related to my degree! I love going on hikes, spending time on the water (whether I'm swimming or on a boat, either way I'm happy!), drinking with friends, discovering new music, and meeting new people!
I've spent a month and a half living in Halifax, getting to see the east coast of Canada. I've been living in Toronto during the last few weeks of June, and starting on July 4th, my friend and I will be making our way across the Canadian Shield, and to the Vancouver coastline. We'll be spending 2 nights in Winnipeg, a week in Calgary, a week in Jasper, and 6 days in Vancouver.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I feel that it would be a more engaging, fulfilling, and interesting experience to get to form friendships with people I might otherwise not have the opportunity to meet. Everyone has their own personal story, and anyone willing to open up their home to a traveller is a person I would love to spend some time with, and learn from. I really vibe with the culture that's been built up around Couchsurfing by both the surfers and the hosts, and hopefully you and I will have a chance to become friends throughout the next month!
