Watership Down, Dr. Strangelove, Ween, Notes from the Underground, Liszt and Sabbath.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Multiple days underground in a large cave system following a serious injury to a member of our party.
Teach, Learn, Share
Practical philosophy, religion as an academic practice, politics as a way to decrease unnecessary suffering. But mostly history stories.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Political discussion including solid devil’s advocacy (worked on drilling rigs in west Texas for a year - if I couldn’t respectfully disagree and be accepted as a long-haired college puke from Austin with an Arabic last name, I probably wouldn’t have hung around as long as I did).
Attentive and careful listening, kindness and patience.
Handy as a bucketful of hands and happy to help
