ABOUT ME
Hey, so I'm a 23 and studied Biology and Spanish at Tulane University in New Orleans. I'm a fun person who's into science, nature, traveling and who enjoys good company. I grew up in Austin, Texas in a big family (I am one of 6 children), and I plan on going to medical school sometime in the near future, but traveling and exploring seems to be my priority now. I am fluent in Spanish and lived abroad in Chile and Argentina for close to a year. Since October I've been living in La Coruña, Spain, as an english teacher.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I love CS and got my first taste of it while backpacking in the Caribbean. I took a long CS trip in Spain and was blown away by people's hospitality and how much more I got out of it than I would have if staying in a hotel or hostel. I met amazing people, had great conversations and got wonderful insights into local customs and cultures. Those three things are basically why I enjoy traveling, so naturally I have become somewhat hooked on the idea and practice of CS.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The best thing I think I've ever done was a recent trip that I took to Patagonia after spending a college semester living in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The highlight of the trip was a 5 hour hike atop an enormous and famous glacier named Perito Moreno. Free glacial water, amazing streams and brillant blue colors, and a nice whiskey with glacial ice at the end.
Teach, Learn, Share
After learning Spanish, I have a great deal of respect for people striving to master another language and I try to help them in anyway that I can. As an English speaker I enjoy helping people practice and answering questions about the language (what's the difference between dude, man, and bro?).
