About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To get out of my comfort zone
ABOUT ME
I just graduated from university and am beginning my career as a teacher. I love cycling, checking out art, eating, movies, and doing outdoors stuff!
PHILOSOPHY
I try to live with regrets. Not regrets that I wish I had done something, but more regretting doing things. This really helps me explore new things and leave my comfort zone.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I used to do a lot of volunteering and work with children, and now that will move to a career. I spend most of my free time riding my bike. It's a great way to explore Houston, or any city for that matter!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've only couchsurfed with a friend in Montreal and Toronto, but I had a great experience with this and decided to get involved with the community!
Interests
Film, sports (watching and playing), the arts, going to concerts, checking out bars and restaurants, lounging around

Music, Movies, and Books
International films and films form the 1950s and 1960s (French New Wave films), indie and electronic music, my favorite books have been by J.D. Salinger Li Young-Lee, the poet.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
For me, some of the most amazing things that I have done are completing long-distance cycling events (100 mi. plus). It's been extremely difficult to continue to bike for a whole day, but by the time I've finished, I've felt so accomplished!
Teach, Learn, Share
Some of my favorite tools for the web:
Currently for Google Chrome: gives you weather and time in a pretty display when you open a new tab.
Boomerang for Gmail: allows you to send an email in advance, great when you're working late at night and don't want to send something till the next morning.
Weatherspark: the most comprehensive weather site, makes use of a lot of beautiful graphs
