Learn and create as much as possible. My passion is understanding and reflecting, so what I create tends to be a reflection of the way I see the world, which evolves every day.

ABOUT ME

I like to learn new languages, travel, meet new people, and make films. I write, act, shoot, score, etc. I like conversations and I am also a someone who appreciates balance, so while I enjoy telling stories, I appreciate active listening just as much.

PHILOSOPHY

Life's too short to be so serious all the time. Be like water, go with the flow, be cool, and if you fall, make a big splash!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I travel pretty frequently so I go to events and meet new people through this site. I also use it to connect with friends I've met in case they are ever in Atlanta!

Interests

I shoot music videos, commercials, sporting events, and films. It's cool to learn from different types of media and I usually challenge myself to find ways to mix the different film making styles to get creative. I like to draw inspiration from all over so I typically get excited about things pretty easily and love to learn about them in detail. I believe that I don't always know what I know, so if I think I know about it, I should try to understand it from someone who really knows it to make sure I know it. Aside from sounding like a robot learning things for the first time, I also love cooking and painting, with ratatouille being my favorite dish to make!

Music, Movies, and Books

When people say they like everything, usually it means popular things, while I on the other hand sincerely mean everything. I study music, movies, and books like my life depends on it (largely because it does for my career) Shaun of the Dead is my favorite movie, with Drive being almost tied. Music, I love listening to Philip Glass, but I also love Kendrick Lamar. The Alchemist is my favorite book, but you can also find me reading books like Als Sprach Zarathustra.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was able to perform with my band in the Montreaux Jazz Festival. Performing and freestyling for so many people on the same stage that Nina Simone and Prince once performed and getting positive reaction pretty much inspired me to never want to stop creating.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach acting, editing with Premiere Pro or Da Vinci Resolve, scene analysis, script writing, plot development, making music, writing songs, etc. I can also teach you some things about cooking that I've picked up from different places and how to mix things you wouldn't think to mix (like a vegan apple mac n cheese from Switzerland with southern flare)
