Currently in college. Discovering my path through education, though I am always looking for ways to get out of the classroom! I am focusing on International Development. I recently spent time in Senegal, meeting people who I now consider family. I also traveled and taught English in the northern hills of Thailand. I am in the early stages of researching the relationship between education and health care for preventable diseases in Senegal.

I am outgoing, but sometimes am reserved at first. I love music, and play trumpet, as well as dabble in other mediums. I have a passion for language and am proficient in French, can survive in Wolof and Thai, and am learning Arabic. Want to learn more languages, but time is always an obstacle.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived in a rural Pulaar village in southern Senegal. Experienced Tabaski with my Senegalese family. Been to the Galapagos. Traveled all around SE Asia. Learned some Wolof and Thai. Experienced Senegalese health care. Chilled with fantastic PCVs. Haggled over batik in Thiès. Made life long friends on four continents.
