About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see, to experience, to love, to share, to be bewildered.
ABOUT ME
I studied Music and Philosophy in my undergraduate program, which I graduated from a year and a half ago. After graduating, I moved to a tourist town in Door County, Wisconsin (Bailey's Harbor) and worked for a couple seasons. Now I'm out of the service business and touring Asia for 5 months! I started my trip on December 3rd.
While I'm abroad, I'm exploring writing as a new medium of expression, and am considering a career in writing. In the words of Haruki Murakami, "I want to take good care of this sprout that has sprung."
PHILOSOPHY
If it is a certainty that life will end, and the time of that ending an uncertainty, then what left is there to do? Time is short, and there is much work to be done. Let us Awaken!

Music, Movies, and Books
Any and all. Some of my favorite music is stuff on the Post rock scene, progressive, math rock, experimental. The weirder the better. Some favie bands include: LITE, Maps and Atlases, Between the Buried and Me, Down I Go, Three Trapped Tigers, Touche Amore, and others.
I also go the classical route. Beethoven would be my favorite from way back in the day, but as far as 20th-21st century composers go, minimalists (Steve Reich and John Adams for sure) usually take it for me.
Movies? Star Wars. How could I talk about other movies?
Books are great. Man's Search For Meaning (Viktor Frankl), Kafka on the Shore (Haruki Murakami), Infinite Jest (David Foster Wallace), To Kill a Mockingbird (Harper Lee), Buddhism Without Beliefs (Stephen Batchelor), Ethics (Baruch Spinoza), Tao Te Ching (Laozi) to name a few.
