Overview
About Me
i'm a writer, theater artist and coffee enthusiast living in new york city
always looking to get out from under my rock and see more of the world, while meeting cool people and having splendid adventures along the way
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
i find Couchsurfing to be such a cool celebration of the trust that can be shared between people, simply as fellow inhabitants of the world. I think it's a great way to dig deeper into my travels, by staying with someone who knows the way their home town works, and who can show me all the hidden gems I'd otherwise overlook. And it's always nice to have someone waiting to greet me in a strange new place
Interests
as a broke millennial, upon earning my bachelor's degree i promptly got a survival job in coffee
as the auditioning life proved to be far too competitive and stressful for me, i leaned into the coffee profession as a means to earn a steady income, to then give me the financial freedom to create my own work, and also: to travel
right now in life i am trying to study and celebrate as many different lifestyles and perspectives as i can, to further understand what we all have in common as inhabitants of the world, and so as to create the art to reflect it

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I wrote and directed drama shows at a YMCA summer camp in New Hampshire, USA, and it's the most rewarding experience of my life thus far. I also hiked to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and to the top of Angel's Landing in Zion National Park.
Teach, Learn, Share
I always feel like I know nothing. That's a big part of why I want to travel. I'm definitely no expert on any one thing. But I pride myself on my emotional intelligence and intuition. A theater degree is basically an empathy degree. I want to share meaningful experiences with kind strangers who then become friends.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I pack light and keep clean and tidy. I enjoy getting to know the people I stay with, and I can shoot the breeze for hours on end. Or shut up and let you go to bed, if that's preferred.
