ABOUT ME

I have visited many intentional communities in the Americas, sometimes staying for a week, sometimes a year. With my travels, I continue to study permaculture.

I easily adapt to new situations. I am very aware and respectful of people's space. I will always clean up after myself and offer to share anything I am able to offer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I vow to be respectful of any space I am welcomed into. And to be respectful of any guest that I have the fortune to host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I once lived in a community house that frequently hosted couch surfers. I was always comfortable with sharing my living space with any of our guests.

Beyond that, I have couch surfed in Peru once. It was a wonderful experience sharing the home of Nino for the short time I was with him.

Mostly when I travel, I stay in hostels or in a community that has accommodations for guests such as myself. Or, I camp.

Interests

I love to work outdoors and on the farm. I have a lot of experience growing crops and building earthen structure. I enjoy working with bees, sheep, cows, poultry, fish, hogs, horses and other animals. For recreation I love to ski and climb.

I am open to any knowledge to be shared, and will share any knowledge I have to offer if it is wanted.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer my hosts my skills and experiences. If you need something built, a garden to be tended, a calf to be reared, or a hive to be harvested, I can do that.

If you'd care for a story about my life in Chile, I'll share one or two. Or, if you'd like to know what those hippies are doing out in the woods of Virginia, I'll let you know.
