I am a math and science teacher based in Boston, MA with a masters degree in Buddhist Studies. I love rock climbing, backpacking, kayaking, and generally being in the outdoors. I'm also really into cultural exchange, politics, and history!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have traveled using couchsurfing extensively and I am excited to return the favor! I’m finally getting back into surfing after a hiatus from COVID and then a lot of moving so I'm really excited to be getting involved again!

I love food, whether it's a tiny local restaurant, fine dining, or a home cooked meal. I love to learn new recipes or cooking techniques and love to cook for people!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I love a little bit of everything from rock to hip-hop to classical to blues, I think there are good musicians in every genre. I've been listening to a lot of underground rap, alternative, downtempo electronic, and jazz lately!

In general I don't like picking favorites, art speaks to me in lots of different ways. I like art that is weird, challenges me, or tells a good story.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I'm a math and science teacher so I'm always happy to share fun facts or explain weird concepts like black holes or relativity. If you don't want to be so nerdy I am pretty well versed in outdoor skills, from wilderness survival to first aid and love to share what I know! I am also a music addict so I love to share my knowledge of a wide variety of music, music history, and even some music theory for the aspiring musician.

I love to cook and would love to make you a meal! I usually don’t eat meat but that doesn’t mean the food won’t be delicious :)

Also can swap stories from my travels to over 50 countries all over the world!
