Overview
About Me
Seattle born and raised. I've lived in Boston, NYC, San Francisco, and now Long Beach. I like the world and the people in it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've met some truly awesome people through Couchsurfing both as a surfer and a host. Couchsurfing really aligns with how I think the world should work: it's pretty amazing to be able to travel around the world on a budget, connecting with people along the way. I love being able to show people all the amazing things about the place I live, and appreciate when others do the same.
Interests
I love staying active and learning about the world around me. I'm always down to try new things, but I haven't found anything that can beat an epic hike, a dip in the water, or a soccer game on nice grass on a beautiful day. I love a good conversation (or as we call it in the United States, "shooting the shit"), and am always on the hunt for a good joke.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a pretty big music fan, and I don't discriminate by genre too much. A random sample of what I like based on recent listens: Todd Terje. A$AP Rocky. Stevie Ray Vaughan. LCD Soundsystem. Tycho. The Grateful Dead. Kanye. Thundercat. Johnny Cash. Wu Tang. Toro Y Moi. Kaytranada. Pearl Jam. MF Doom. Boards of Canada. Chaos in the CBD. Tame Impala.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A monthlong solo trip around the US in my Subaru, camping, hiking, and (of course) couchsurfing along the way.
